Grand Canyon Hiking Tips

Millions every year visit the Grand Canyon and wish to hike down to the Colorado River to fully embrace all the natural wonders it has to offer. However, the vast majority of the hikers don’t make it to the bottom due to lack of preparedness and stamina. What are some tips in order to make the hike less difficult?

First, plan ahead. Be prepared to reserve a camping spot in the midst of your hike to and from the rim. Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. It might be helpful to hike around in your local park before your trip and carry a 30-lb. backpack in order to build up your strength for the Canyon hike.
