    1. Chong,

Here is one of the best links to Weather that I use when visiting the Grand Canyon by exact location:
      https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=North+Rim&state=AZ&site=FGZ&textField1=36.2106&textField2=-112.061&e=0#.VDQq2vldXng

It is a link to the National Weather Service’s website and Weather Forecast. The great thing about this website is that it give you a 7 day forecast that is “fairly” accurate. NOW, hardly any forecast beyond 3 days is all that accurate…but the NWS site is calling for a High of 65 on Sunday October 12th. So expect the 60’s for a High, and in the Mid-30’s for a Low at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon from October 12th – 19th this year. Great Hiking Weather…I would go hiking while you are there if I were you.

      Enjoy the North Rim,

      Karlyn

    1. Hello Sue,

Generally the weather at the North Rim the first week in October is warm and pleasant during the day and cold at night. It is usually perfect hiking weather during the day. You will want to bring a coat or warm jacket if you plan to be out and about to watch the sunset.
