Grand Canyon Experience with Skywalk

Take an Airplane, Helicopter and Pontoon Boat tour from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon West Rim and include the Skywalk!

On the Grand Voyager with Skywalk Tour, you’ll experience everything that makes Grand Canyon West unique in one unforgettable day! Your adventure begins with pick-up at your hotel by van or Motorcoach and transportation to the Boulder City Municipal Airport. After boarding your deHavilland Twin Otter Vistaliner Airplane, you’re up and away, over the austere yet dramatic expanse of the Mojave Desert, and the colossal Hoover Dam. You’ll get the ultimate bird’s eye view of not only the dam, but Lake Mead, one of the largest man-made lakes in the world.

After about 45 minutes in the air, your plane lands at Grand Canyon West, a Native American Tribal Park owned by the Hualapai Indian Nation.  Here, you’ll do what was once considered impossible: get to the bottom of the Grand Canyon with an exhilarating helicopter flight to the canyon floor. You’ll get up close and personal with the Grand Canyon’s rugged cliffs and hidden alcoves, before touching down at the bottom of the Grand Canyon, where pontoon boats wait to take you on a short leisurely cruise up the Colorado River and back. After your river ride, it’s time to reboard your helicopter and fly back rim side, where motor coaches are ready to resume your tour of Grand Canyon West.

Your first stop is Eagle Point, site of Arizona’s newest and most exciting attraction, the Grand Canyon Skywalk! This horseshoe-shaped glass platform juts 70 feet past the canyon’s edge, giving you the spine-tingling sensation of walking on air hundreds of feet above the bottom of the Grand Canyon.  If time permits, you can also tour Grand Canyon West’s Indian Village, where you can walk inside replicas of the traditional dwellings of many Southwest Native American Tribes. At the Eagle Point Amphitheatre, you might catch dancing and/or other cultural programs presented by the Hualapai Indian Tribe.

You will receive a box Lunch to enjoy at your leisure while visiting Grand Canyon West! Named for a now defunct mining operation, at Guano Point you can still walk around the promontory to view remnants of a tram line and other implements that still remain.

Eventually, it’s time to head back to Las Vegas, and even with adding the Skywalk on to your day, this tour still averages less than 8 hours from *hotel to hotel. Space is limited, so book your seats today!
