Next, you’ll take a short and scenic walk to the bank of the Colorado River for a smooth water pontoon boat ride down the Colorado River. This peaceful river trip offers a magnificent vantage point of the towering and colorful thousand-foot walls rising on either side of you!
After your refreshing journey down this famous river, you’ll board another helicopter flight to the West Rim’s surface. Once back at the West Rim entrance, passengers will have their choice of several entrance passes, including the Grand Canyon Skywalk, available for purchase to explore all the beauty that Grand Canyon West offers.

Itinerary
- Check-In: 30 minutes prior to flight time at the Grand Canyon West Terminal at Papillon Helicopters.
- Helicopter Flight: You will board a Helicopter and fly to the bottom of Grand Canyon West
- Boat Ride: You will enjoy a Boat ride on the Colorado River
- Observation Points: Grand Canyon landscape, rock formations, the Colorado River and rising walls
- Helicopter Flight: Return to the top of the West Rim via Helicopter

Water: You may want to bring a bottle of water although it is not allowed to be open in the Helicopter
Bring a Camera or Smartphone. The use of “Selfie Sticks” is prohibited on or around the Helicopter
Summer attire is recommended Apr-Sep. Layered Winter Attire from Oct-Mar annually.
Shoes: On the Ground Tour, you will be in rocky terrain. Sneakers or Hiking Boots recommended.
