Las Vegas, Nevada, or Page, Arizona
7 days, 6 nights
Photo opportunities
Rafting, camping, and side hikes
Highly trained guides

This 7-day/6-night trip with Arizona River Runners is our most popular trip for good reason. Raft, hike, and camp your way through 187 miles of the Colorado River – experiencing the Grand Canyon in a way few ever do. Immerse yourself in spectacular scenery, towering canyon walls, ancient Native American pictographs and dwellings, refreshing waterfalls, star-filled skies, and fascinating wildlife.

This expedition strikes the perfect balance of excitement, exploration, and relaxation. While every trip is a bit different, you can expect to spend about 4-6 hours a day rafting, leaving plenty of time to participate in guided hikes, play games at camp, or find a quiet place to read, draw, or simply reflect. Along the way, discover iconic sights like Redwall Cavern, the Little Colorado River, Blacktail Canyon, Deer Creek Falls, and Havasu Creek. Raft through epic rapids like Hance, Sockdolager, Crystal, Hermit, and Lava Falls. Cool off and relax by floating in crystal-clear pools at the base of hidden waterfalls. Each night ends by falling asleep under a blanket of stars.

Throughout the trip, your experienced river guides skillfully navigate the river while delighting you with tales of former river runners and interesting facts about Grand Canyon geology, flora, and fauna. They’ll also cook delicious meals like steak, fajitas, salmon, and even Dutch-oven lasagna with desserts you won’t want to miss. Whether you are travelling solo, as a couple, with friends, co-workers, or family, you’ll quickly connect with fellow travellers from around the world as you become part of a true “river family.”

Your trip ends with a thrilling helicopter flight from the river up to the Bar 10 Ranch, where you’ll grab a shower before boarding a plane for a scenic flight back to Page or Las Vegas.

Note: Although no previous camping or rafting experience is required, this is an active adventure, and guests need to be prepared for the physical nature of the trip
