Beautiful views! We stopped here to see some last sights before we left. Very peaceful. They have benches to sit on…i liked to sit on the ground. If youre looking for something else to see, I highly recommend!

I had found out that a friend died a day before my visit here, and I cannot express the solitude and peace that I found on the overlook here. I sat here for quite some time and peace just washed over me. I cannot wait to go back and visit with a fresh new perspective. If you are in the area, go, take the time and breath in the scenery. It makes you wonder when overlooking such beauty the survival it took for many to cross these great lands.
Breathtaking place. Looking at outstanding views Breath almost blocked my throat and I had to call emergency medical services to get my breath back.Free parking , Free entrance.Open from sunrise to Sunset only.Don’t forget to visit WELCOME SIGNs OF ARIZONA AND UTAH after this as they just 2 miles from this place.
The peace that these views give you with the clouds rolling in the early morning 🌄 God's creation 🙏 Sat here for a while just taking in the majesty of it all. Much needed break on a solo trip through the canyons. Don't just drive through it; experience it! Sit still and find peace. TYG!
Amazing 360 view of mountains. Came for sunset

Wahweap Overlook sits on a sandstone knoll 600 ft above the blue expanse of Lake Powell. Reached by a short, graded access road off US‑89, the overlook is one of the easiest ways to appreciate the scale of Glen Canyon without boarding a boat or hiking long distances. Visitors can trace the sinuous Colorado River, spot the massive arch of Glen Canyon Dam, and watch houseboats glide across Wahweap Bay. Benches, shade shelters, and interpretive panels make it a comfortable stop for families, photographers, and anyone driving between Page and the Grand Canyon’s North Rim.
Car: From Page, drive north on US‑89 for 2 mi/3 km, turn left at the signed “Wahweap Overlook” road, and follow the 0.8‑mi graded gravel road to the top. Tours: Many Antelope Canyon and Lake Powell bus tours include a photo stop here on request. Cycling: Strong riders can pedal the same route; watch for loose gravel near the summit.
