This was our first time glamping and it was a wonderful experience! It exceeded all my expectations. The tents were very comfortable with nice beds and warm blankets. Roasting s'mores at the fire pits listening to live music under the stars was such a wonderful and peaceful experience. Highly recommend this place.

I’ve been looking forward to staying at Under Canvas Grand Canyon for years, always seeing their gorgeous Instagram ads. Unfortunately, the reality was underwhelming and not worth the price.The property and tents photographs beautifully, but in person it doesn’t live up to the hype. There was very little to do on-site, and while they advertise an “adventure desk,” not once during our stay did we see anyone there to give guidance or recommendations.Food options were another big disappointment. There’s nothing close by, and the food available at camp was very basic and low quality—think lots of fries and not much else. Staff were friendly, but very young and inexperienced.We actually left two nights early and forfeited the money we had paid. When we told the staff we were leaving, they simply said “okay, bye,” without asking why we were walking away from that much money. On top of that, one stormy night our tent shook violently it felt like it might collapse.We had also booked a stargazing experience through them. Because we decided to leave early, we asked to change the date or get a refund, and Under Canvas said no. When I contacted the provider directly, they said we absolutely could—but once Under Canvas got involved, the provider stopped replying.Overall, I found the experience very disappointing. It’s marketed beautifully, but the substance just isn’t there—poor food, limited activities, and no sense of care when guests aren’t happy. Sadly, after this trip, I won’t be booking with Under Canvas again.

We had a nice stay at Under Canvas Grand Canyon. The concept is interesting and offers a fun, upscale version of camping. That said, it does feel quite expensive for what it is.If you’re a couple, it works well, but the bathroom setup doesn’t provide much privacy. The beds were too hard for us, and the shower wasn’t very well sealed, so water leaked into the tent. Breakfast was overpriced and offered only a limited selection of hot dishes (burgers at 8 a.m. are not ideal, especially for Europeans).It can also be noisy in the evening, as the tents are not soundproof at all, and cars pass between them until late. On the positive side, the starry sky is absolutely stunning since there’s no light pollution, which makes for a unique experience.Be aware that there is no electricity or Wi-Fi in the tents. External batteries are provided for charging phones, which is helpful. The staff is young, friendly, and very welcoming.Overall, though, it was a cool experience and we enjoyed trying something different.

Our experience was truly unforgettable. Every interaction,from arrival to departure,was marked by exceptional warmth and attentiveness. The food was beyond delicious, the lodging was top-notch, and the team was extremely attentive to our every need. I hosted a team meeting here with more than 30 people, and I could not be more impressed with the level of service and care we received.

A friend stayed and loved it, so we made a point of visiting as part of a trip to the Grand Canyon. It exceed expectations in terms of location (close to the park), setting (gorgeous parcel of land with coyotes and rabbits and birds, not to mention the most stunning views of the stars), amenities (comfy beds, nicely appointed rooms, warm showers with a rustic vibe), staff (couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful), food (healthy and delicious), atmosphere (fun family games and subdued music nightly). Shout out to Michael who helped us with our in-tent fireplace, which worked wonderfully and kept us warm.
