Tusayan General Store is the last full‑service grocery, deli and souvenir stop before the Grand Canyon’s South Rim, making it the go‑to place for food, camping supplies and gifts in one quick visit.
I don't know what or where this is. The store at the Grand canyon was nice but overpriced, of course. The shop at the gas station was crowded, an spicy food and long lines. I didn't know which of these Tusayan was, or if it was somewhere else entirely.
This place has an odd selection of jacked up prices and actually decent deals on its items. That being said, it's a charming little place with a surprising number of modern updates. Nice little self-checkout machine and all that.
Got a post office with limited times but a nice general store.
Great general store with some of everything!
It’s a clean store with plenty of parking about 15 minutes from the Grand Canyon park. We stopped here for drinks and snacks before checking in to our resort at the park thinking we would save a few dollars. We found the prices to be significantly less at the general store at Yavapai Lodge in the park. In addition, the general store had better selection and more fresh foods. We would have saved money by not stopping here.

Just outside the park gates, Tusayan General Store has served canyon visitors for decades with groceries, snacks, fresh sandwiches, camping fuel, ice and a wide range of Grand Canyon souvenirs. Operated by Delaware North Parks & Resorts, the store also shares a building with a Starbucks® for quick caffeine stops. Wide aisles, accessible restrooms and plenty of parking make it an easy, one‑stop supply run before or after your canyon adventures.
Car: On AZ‑64 in central Tusayan, 5 minutes from the South Rim entrance station. Bus: Purple Route (Tusayan Route) of the Grand Canyon shuttle stops nearby in summer. Air: 2 mi/3 km from Grand Canyon National Park Airport (GCN). Bike/Foot: Paved Tusayan Greenway leads directly from town into the park.
