I honestly think this is one of the better views of the Canyon. Absolutely beautiful at sunset and it has a nice trail for you to stop and see many different angles of the canyon and its unique landscape. Stayed here for a good minute and just took in the amazing views
This scenic trail is absolutely breathtaking. We spent hours here mesmerized by the sheer beauty of the canyon. The trail has numerous stops where you can take in views from all angles, and truly appreciate the unique landscape.
Every view of the canyon is breathtaking. From where we're standing, you can walk down the side of the canyon following the mule p[athway, untill you reach the Colorado in the bottom. Plan your day carefully to return before the worst of the heat of the day. Mule rides follow the path you see in the attached photo. I hear it's hard on the legs just sitting on the mule with those inclines & turns.

I've lived in Arizona since I was 15. Can't believe I finally went to the Grand Canyon at 46. I was completely impressed with the view, the colors of the canyon, and the wildlife. It was freezing, but I didn't care, well worth it.

Trailview Overlook sits on Hermit Road, a 7-mile (11 km) scenic drive that begins at the west edge of Grand Canyon Village. March 1 – Nov 30: Ride the free Red Route shuttle from the Hermit Road Transfer. Trailview is the first west-bound stop (≈5 min). Dec 1 – Feb 28: Drive Hermit Road; a small pull-out (2–3 spaces) is signed ‘Trailview Overlook.’ Rim Trail: A paved, mostly level 0.8-mi (1.3-km) walk from Bright Angel Lodge.
