Great place to stay with lots of amenities. The interior has lots of Southwest and Grand Canyon vibe. Check-in for our 3-night stay was quick, front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Room and beds were comfortable. Our room included both a refrigerator and microwave plus everything else as expected. We stayed off-season so some things were not available: the Pub and bowling alley were both closed plus the restaurant had limited staff (we did not eat on-site). The outdoor pool with hot tub was very nice, the indoor pool and fitness area were open though we did use them. Great location close to the south rim of the Grand Canyon.

We had a fantastic stay at The Squire! Its location, just minutes from the Grand Canyon, is unbeatable and made exploring the area incredibly convenient.The hotel lobby is relaxing and beautifully themed. We especially loved the thoughtful touches and family-friendly activities, like roasting marshmallows by the fireplace in the evening and the kids movies by the indoor pool.Our room was spacious and very comfortable, even if the decor felt a little dated. Everything was clean and well and we slept wonderfully. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We were very pleased with our stay at The Squire. It was the perfect location for exploring the park and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The vintage photos of the Grand Canyon throughout were a nice touch. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise as far as quality and presentation of our meals. We left something behind in our room of sentimental value that the housekeeping staff promptly located and shipped back to us, for which we were very appreciative.

I recently stayed at Squire Resort and, unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations for a four-star property. Below are the key areas where I feel improvements are needed:1. Check-In & Front Desk• The team appeared unorganized and undertrained; splitting bills took an unnecessarily long time.• While staff were technically polite, there was a noticeable lack of warmth or proactive assistance—they did not smile or offer to go above and beyond basic duties.2. Room Amenities• The in-room offerings were the bare minimum: standard toiletries, low-tier coffee, and generic stationery. For a four-star rate, I expected higher-quality brands and a few thoughtful extras (e.g., a better coffee selection or welcome water).3. Housekeeping & Cleanliness• Cleaning was superficial. I observed dust on surfaces and a few areas that had clearly been missed during the turn-down service.4. Noise Control• Doors to guest rooms and closets slam shut very loudly from the hallway, which was disruptive—especially during early mornings and late evenings.5. Overall RatingBased on service, amenities, and comfort, I would currently rate this property as a three-star at best. With targeted staff training, upgraded room supplies, and more rigorous housekeeping standards, this hotel has the potential to truly earn its four-star designation.I hope management will take these points on board—addressing them will significantly enhance guest satisfaction and uphold the standards expected at this level.

Let me start by saying that the hotel has all you want; nice pools, arcade, outdoor seating, etc. The rooms are spacious with maybe a bit outdated bathrooms. Furthermore, the location is great, close to the Grand Canyon NP entrance.However, when we got to our rooms (we had 2 with the family), in one of them the bathroom was rather filthy. Hairs everywhere and used towels. This was fixed without too much of a wait by assigning another room. Nevertheless, this should not happen. Moreover, the desk employee acted like he was doing us a favor instead of apologizing.Another strong concern is the breakfast. Firstly, we had to wait 25 minutes for a table, while plenty of tables (we could see) were vacant. Secondly, the breakfast buffet itself, for a mere $20, is not much more than a free one provided by some mid-end hotel chains. Thirdly, we were halfway through our breakfast and we got our drinks (coffee, juice) that you have to order instead of getting yourself.In a nutshell, the breakfast is certainly not worth the wait and certainly not worth the price.In spite of the downsides we enjoyed our stay very much. I would recommend to put the dots on the ‘i’ and it is a formidable place close to the Grand Canyon NP.
