Description

The National Park Service notes the facility is “Restrooms: located between the main parking lot and the canyon.” Built to support the Desert View Watchtower overlook, the block handles thousands of visitors daily and is maintained year-round. A 2015 upgrade added ADA-compliant stalls, low-flow fixtures, and solar lighting to cut water and energy use. Today the restroom forms part of the Desert View Inter-tribal Cultural Heritage Site project, which is enhancing amenities while sharing the stories of 11 associated tribes.
