If you want to park in Grand Canyon village, this is a great place. You are close to a bus connection that takes you through the entire park. The places are spacious so that a camper can also be easily parked. We found this a very nice place to park our camper during our visit to the grand canyon

Parking Lot C is a small, paved car-only lot in the heart of Grand Canyon Village. It sits just south of the historic district and Bright Angel Trailhead, making it one of the closest places to leave your vehicle before walking to the canyon rim or boarding the free Village (Blue) Route shuttle.

Is Parking Lot C free?
Yes. Parking is included in your Grand Canyon National Park entrance fee; no additional payment is required.
Can I leave my car overnight?
Standard cars may remain overnight if you are a registered lodge guest or have a valid backcountry permit displayed on the dashboard. Long-term storage is not permitted.
Are RVs or trailers allowed?
No. Lot C is sized for passenger cars only. Oversized vehicles should use Lot B (near the Backcountry Information Center) or Lot D.
Does the lot fill up quickly?
During busy months it often fills by mid-morning. Arrive early, late in the day, or consider parking at the Visitor Center and using the shuttle.
How do I reach the canyon rim from the lot?
Walk ~5 minutes north across Village Loop Dr. to Bright Angel Lodge, or board the eastbound Village (Blue) Route shuttle at the stop beside the lot.
Is the lot plowed in winter?
Yes. NPS plows Village roads and parking areas after snowstorms, but temporary closures can occur during active snowfall.
