We enjoyed our stay in Maswik lodge for 3 nights in May 2025. It was a great experience to stay inside the national park.We arrived here by Groome transportation bus from Phoenix (bus change at Flagstaff). I think this is a good option for those coming without car.The rooms were excellent, staff was very good. Breakfast is not complementary! But enough options are available (a bit expensive though). It is also possible to buy groceries from the market within Grand canyon village and make your own breakfast in the room. The rooms have good kitchen, hot plate, microwave, fridge etc.The Grand canyon free shuttle buses stop right at the door of Maswik lodge, making it very convenient to explore Grand canyon. Overall, Maswik Lodge is an excellent choice for staying inside Grand canyon national park.

Amazing location in the park, very close to the rim and services. Staff was great, helpful and friendly. Main facilities were well laid out, very clean, and comfortable to spend time in.The rooms were as expected for the cost, nothing fancy, but did the job, when in the GC you should be spending very little time in the rooms and enjoying what the park has to offer. Room was very clean with everything in good working order. The shower heads were among the best of any hotel I've stayed in.Parking was plentiful and "motel style" right in front of the room building.

Very nice hotel and food court is conveniently located inside the hotel. Hotel was very clean and quiet. Our tour bus picked us up at the hotel. Everything was very well coordinated. Our luggage was taken care of by hotel staff so we didn’t have to carry it out of the room at checkout. Because we came on the train the luggage was picked up and taken to the hotel in Williams and was waiting for us in our room.

We booked a last minute trip to the Grand Canyon and found this lodge. We were hoping for one of the hotels closer to the rim but they were all booked. I am so glad they were! The Maswik turned out to be perfect location. Check in was at 4 but we got there 2 hrs early and asked if we could check in now. No problem and no charge! We had our own little porch out back with chairs for coffee in the morning and adult beverages in the evening. Just delightful! The hotels close to the rim were packed full of people and we were in a quiet and cozy area that had no crowds. Parking was easy and plentiful. The food court had lots of great options. The location was within walking distance to all the park buses and just a short drive away from the grocery store.We have recommended the Maswik to our friends and family and will be going back in August because we felt this was the perfect landing spot for our adventures!

Had a great stay at Maswik Lodge! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the South Rim, which made sunrise and sunset visits super easy. The room was clean, modern, and quiet, with a nice balcony surrounded by pine trees. The food court was convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect spot if you want to stay inside the park without breaking the bank. Would definitely stay here again!
