Lake Powell Golf Course Overlook Trailhead marks the northern gateway to Page’s Rim View Trail. Built in 2008 as a community project, the overlook features a stone‑walled platform, interpretive signage, and a ramada that lets visitors rest out of the desert sun while enjoying 360‑degree vistas of Lake Powell and the surrounding canyon country. From here, hikers, runners, and cyclists can embark on the easy‑grade Rim View Trail, a 10‑mile loop encircling the city of Page. Because no permit or fee is required, the spot is popular for sunrise coffee stops, sunset photography, and quick leg‑stretch breaks on the way to Horseshoe Bend or Antelope Canyon.
