Opened to support the rapid growth of Grand Canyon West tourism, Hualapai Station 3 (Station 143) houses a 4×4 pumper engine and trained firefighter‑paramedics ready for structural, wildland, and medical incidents. The station’s strategic location on Diamond Bar Road shortens response times to the Skywalk, Eagle Point, Guano Point, and the Grand Canyon West Airport, ensuring visitor safety across Hualapai tribal lands.

2005
Hualapai Nation establishes Department of Fire & EMS.
2007
Station 3 constructed to cover newly opened Skywalk.
2012
Engine 1431 (Pierce 1250 GPM, 1,000 gal) placed in service.
2018
Added advanced life support (ALS) medical capability.

Building upgrades for crew quarters and communications.
