Stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon during our visit to the Grand Canyon. Service was friendly and attentive.Prices as to be expected for the tourist area (some items seemed pretty decently priced, while others seemed a little high).-Green Chili Tamales (good quality/taste)-Chips Salsa & Guac (desperately needed seasoning)-Side Southwest Caesar Salad (large portion, good taste)Overall, would recommend for a nice, casual sitdown meal during your break visiting the Grand Canyon.

For atmosphere, you can’t get much better than right by the Grand Canyon.The food was pretty good and reasonably priced.I got a half-sized southwest Caesar salad that was super good. I also got the fajita chicken quesadilla, and it was pretty big and I had to give half to my husband. It was pretty good, but the salad was better.My husband loved the fish and chips!

We had a great dinner and our server was very attentive. The place is bright and has sitting with partial view to the canyon. We had the half chicken with mashed potatoes, the western salad and the apple crisp a la mode which is homemade.

A bit hard to review when you've had 4 meals here and most were average to good and one was truly bad. It's a café so don't get your hopes up wrt to Michelin starred meals. It's always easy to find a place here even without a reservation. And rates are reasonable. And the staff excellent – run off their feet but still smiley and pleasant. This is one of the 3-4 restaurants inside the Grand Canyon Village. That said I will just talk about the one really disappointing meal I had here. I ordered Avacado toast with one egg and it was delivered stone cold. Instead of apologizing for the meal, the waiter gave me a litany of excuses: it was under the cold meal section. I'd have urged him to look at the menu but I didn't think of it then. Under the section I ordered there's also pancakes etc… Does that mean those are served cold too? I think not especially as my husband ordered the corn pancakes and it was quite warm. I've had Avocado toast with an egg on top hundreds of times, and its NEVER EVER been served cold. He said the avocado UNDERNEATH made it cold! Really?!! Then he also told me that the balsamic reduction on top of the toast was also instrumental in making it cold. Yes there was a light drizzle of the reduction on the toast + egg, but it was a slight one and the top was not smothered by it, certainly not enough to make the dish cold. Please see image. He did offer to replace it, but I did not have the time and made do with my husband's meal. It's isn't his fault, he didn't cook it, but perhaps a better understanding of what he is serving, an apology and not defend – and continue to defend – the indefensible?!!! That was really pissing off.

Food portion was very generous – one portion could almost definitely be shared between two people. For breakfast, we had and really enjoyed the ‘country skillet’. The dinner items we had were also fine – the steak was good, but the others were okay.The servers in the morning during breakfast were beyond lovely, full of positivity and helpfulness. Servers during dinner time were fine, slightly less visible for help if needed compared to the breakfast servers.
