Why Visit Grand Canyon National Park Science and Resource Management

The Science and Resource Management (SRM) Division is Grand Canyon National Park’s central hub for research, monitoring, and stewardship of the park’s natural and cultural resources. Its interdisciplinary team oversees everything from wildlife studies and air‑quality monitoring to archaeological surveys and river science.

Description

The SRM office is primarily a working facility for park scientists and partner researchers. Public walk‑ins are not typical. Researchers, university partners, and other stakeholders should request an appointment, bring photo ID and permit paperwork, and check shuttle schedules.
