The Sunset Jeep Safari with our guide Werner was absolutely unforgettable. He took us to hidden viewpoints away from the crowds and shared fascinating stories about the Grand Canyon. Watching the canyon light up in shades of orange and purple at sunset was magical. Highly recommended!

Our tour was a great way to experience the Grand Canyon for the first time. Werner was very knowledgeable with the local flora and fauna and the local history. He's also hilarious and entertaining to boot! Everyone had a great time.
Awesome tour! Colleen was a great guide. She had a sharp eye and maneuvered the truck so we could see all the animal life: elk, mule deer, wild horses, tame cows (slow elk😄) and she knew the area and the geology well (I taught earth science so she did great). We got awesome pictures and she handled an ill guest with compassion and knowledge.
This tour was an absolute dream come true! The views were breathtaking and truly unforgettable. Our guide, Tyler, was incredible, so knowledgeable and passionate about the area. I learned so much history thanks to him, and we were all impressed by the depth of his knowledge. We also really appreciated the cozy blankets provided when the evening got cooler, as well as the many great photo opportunities. This experience is a must-do if you're in the area!

Founded in 1993, Grand Canyon Jeep Tours & Safaris is the South Rim’s original off‑road tour company. Locally owned and operated, the outfitter runs a fleet of natural‑gas‑powered jeeps that carry no more than nine guests each. Guides weave geology, wildlife, and regional lore into every outing, whether a quick two‑hour forest safari or a three‑hour rim‑walk at sunset. Tours depart year‑round from Tusayan, just outside the park entrance, with complimentary hotel pick‑up available.
