Grand Canyon Baptist Church is an independent Southern Baptist congregation founded in 1984 to minister to Grand Canyon National Park’s employees, residents, and millions of annual visitors. Weekly worship, Bible studies, and seasonal outreach events take place inside the Shrine of the Ages—a multipurpose facility built by the National Park Service in 1960. The church partners with Arizona Southern Baptists to provide resort‑mission volunteers who welcome travelers from around the globe.
