Description
Completed in 2011 as part of an eight-building modernization project, Brandt Hall helps the National Park Service and concessioners house the workforce that keeps Grand Canyon Village running year-round. The two-story building offers dormitory rooms for one or two occupants, communal bathrooms, free laundry, Wi-Fi and a resident lounge. Weekly rent is payroll-deducted (around $20 per person) and includes all utilities, making it one of the most affordable places to live inside a U.S. national park.

Getting There
Car: Enter South Rim via South Entrance Station, follow signs to Market Plaza; Rouzer Rd is opposite Yavapai Lodge East. Park Shuttle: Village (Blue) Route – exit at Market Plaza stop, 3-minute walk. Employee Shuttle: Free staff shuttle links Brandt Hall with other work sites each shift.
