Navajo‑owned Antelope Canyon Tours shuttles guests by 4×4 from Page to world‑famous Upper Antelope Canyon, providing guided walks through its sculpted sandstone corridors in about 1 hour 45 minutes.
This was a beautiful way to see Antelope Canyon. Kayaking was easy when there where no boats on the water but more difficult when boats were around. Unfortunately where were pulled up to the place to do the hike it was mucky and smelly. Our guide told us that there was a flash flood the week before and that's why it was like that. We all still were able to do the short hike and it was really amazing to be walking through the canyon.
Mario is a fantastic tour guide. The ride to the site is 4 miles of paved road followed by 3 miles of sand dune road? Be ready for a roller coaster ride. The land is beautiful and Mario's knowledge of the area is exceptional. He helped the whole group take photos as well as to some photos of light generated images that were amazing. I highly recommend this tour company if your visiting Sedona.
I attended the 12:25pm tour July 14th and was still able to get 5 photos with different light beams in the canyons. Because of the A frame shape of the canyons it’s always recommended to catch them mid day to get those light beams. Supposedly the light only enters between.Mario was an excellent guide! Made sure to allow each guest to get their solo/couple/family picture at each beam of light. He also taught me a lot of about Navajo language and culture which was especially interesting. Thanks Mario!
March 12, 2025: we were there with the family today and were allowed to take a guided tour of the canyon.Pick-up is in the town of Page and you then take a minibus across a dry riverbed to the canyon.From there, we went into the canyon together in small groups or with the family. We had a guide who led us through the gorge. We stopped again and again at prominent points and had the opportunity to take beautiful pictures.📸It was really breathtakingly beautiful and this tour is definitely recommended. It is very rare to get such impressions and pictures. The important thing here is that it must be in good weather. ☀️I can only recommend everyone to book this tour once and be intoxicated by the impressions. An absolute must. 🥰
Outstanding experience! Felt like being in the movie 127 hours, but in a good way. The textures, lights and shades were incredible. Tori the guide was amazing, very friendly and excellent photographer. Would really recommend

Operating since the late 1980s, Antelope Canyon Tours – founded by Roger and Carolene Ekis – was the first company authorized by the Navajo Nation to guide visitors into Upper Antelope Canyon. Tours depart from Dam Plaza in Page and travel 3 miles down a sandy wash to the canyon entrance. Guides lead visitors along the ⅛‑mile slot, pointing out famous formations such as “The Heart” and “Lady in the Wind,” and positioning guests for optimal photographs of the famous light shafts that appear mid‑day in summer. The company also offers seasonal photographer‑only departures with extended time inside the canyon.
By Car: 2 hrs 15 min from Grand Canyon South Rim via US‑89. By Shuttle/Taxi: Local taxis and hotel shuttles serve Dam Plaza. By Air: Page Municipal Airport (PGA) is 5 minutes away; rental cars available.
