The Grand Canyon’s free shuttle system is the easiest way to get around the South Rim, especially during peak season when Hermit Road is closed to private vehicles (March through November). This directory maps the shuttle boarding locations we’ve documented.

The park operates several shuttle routes. The Village (Blue) Route connects lodges, restaurants, and the visitor center. The Hermit Road (Red) Route takes you to western viewpoints like Hopi Point, Mohave Point, and Hermits Rest. The Kaibab Rim (Orange) Route connects the visitor center to Mather Point, Yaki Point, and the South Kaibab Trailhead.

Shuttles run frequently typically every 10 to 15 minutes during peak hours. No tickets or reservations needed. Just show up at any stop and hop on.
