Parking at the Grand Canyon fills up fast, especially on the South Rim between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. during peak season. Knowing your options ahead of time saves real frustration. This directory maps every parking area we’ve documented across the park.

The largest lots are near the South Rim Visitor Center (Lots 1 4), with overflow options at Lot D near the village. Along Desert View Drive, viewpoints like Moran Point and Navajo Point have their own smaller lots. On the North Rim, parking is less competitive but still limited at popular trailheads during summer.
