Artist Background
Jay Mickelson Swapp was nick named "Mick" by his mother. Born in Kanab, Utah, he moved to Page, Arizona in 1963. He grew up on the banks of the Colorado River and the shores of Lake Powell. Started running river trips for Wilderness River Adventures and writing songs over 9 years ago. Listening to my music, you will take a part of the Colorado River home with you. If you have taken a raft trip, ran a river, or dreamed of being an outlaw, this CD is for you.
