July 1 – 3 Northern Arizona BBQ Festival (WILLIAMS) The Williams Main Street Association in partnership with the Special Olympics of Arizona presents this KCBS sanctioned BBQ cook-off July 1st & 2nd and an amateur backyard BBQ cook-off July 3rd. A beer garden featuring regional micro breweries, street dance and kids’ zone are all a part of this 4th of July weekend in the cool pines of Northern Arizona, 800-863-0546.
July 3 32nd Annual 4th of July Celebration (GRAND CANYON/TUSAYAN) As soon as the sun sets, our iconic Electric Light Night Parade will set into motion an evening filled with live music, dancing, great food and drink. Enjoy ol’fashioned games and activities, entertainment by James Peshlaki’s Native Dancers and the local band, Exit 64, an auction filled with some of the best items, tours and getaways from our local attractions as well as the surrounding area. The fun begins at 3 pm, Entrance fee $5 per adult, kids 12 and under free. Electric Light Night Parade is free and starts at 8pm. July 4 Home Town 4th of July and Parade (WILLIAMS) One of the longest parades in Northern Arizona starting at 6pm through downtown, local Rotary BBQ, Kiwanis Korn Roast and long running ice cream social at the Methodist Church, Cataract Creek Rambler steam engine runs all weekend long at the Grand Canyon Railway and many more family activities, 800-863-0546.
July 4 15th Annual 4th of July Parade (FLAGSTAFF) Drawing more than 10,000 people, this annual tradition has more than 100 entries. Designated an “Arizona Treasure” by former Governor Janet Napolitano. Historic Downtown Flagstaff, 9 am, 928-774-4505.
