I’m interested in rafting on the Colorado River.

VISITOR:
I’ll come there next month and  I’m interested in rafting on Colorado River.
RITA:
Are you interested in a White Water trip?
VISITOR:
But how long does it take to do this trip because I have few time ?
One Day rafting tripsRITA:
We offer One Day trips from Williams, AZ and Flagstaff, AZ, but there are longer trips available that I can find information for you.
VISITOR:
Are there also some cheap hotel around there?
RITA:
Williams and Flagstaff both have a variety of hotels…many of which are very economical. Let me find some information for you:
Flagstaff hotels
Williams hotels
If you click on those links, it will give you the available hotels for the dates you need, and their prices.
VISITOR:
Let me explain you my travel..I have only 11 days, I’ll arrive to san francisco, then I’ll go to los angeles, las vegas and I’d like to see at least grand canyon and monument valley.
RITA:
Ok, are you driving yourself?
VISITOR:
So i’m looking for the best and easiest way to see all this places and I’ll take the car from san francisco, and I wonder what place I should visit first of all.
RITA:
From Las Vegas, Williams, AZ is about 4 hours East, and Flagstaff is another 30 minutes East of Williams. You could do the One Day White Water trip from either of those locations.
VISITOR:
Sorry what’s the meaning of AZ?
RITA:
I’m sorry, AZ is short for Arizona.
VISITOR:
Ok thank you.
RITA:
From Williams, you are one hour South of the Grand Canyon South Rim.
RITA:
From Flagstaff, you are about 90 minutes from the South Rim.
VISITOR:
And from las vegas how long does it take?
RITA:
From Las Vegas to Williams is about 4 hours, add another hour to the South Rim. If you overnight Williams you can do the One Day White Water, then the next day travel up to the South Rim.
VISITOR:
I’ll have the return flight from las vegas, so when I’ll leave los angeles, do you suggest me to go before to las vegas or directly to grand canyon?
RITA:
From Los Angeles to Williams and the Grand Canyon, you will travel right thru Las Vegas.
Did you want to see Monument Valley as well?
VISITOR:
yes yes, I know it’s far but I want to see it.
RITA:
Ok, You can easily travel to Monument Valley from the Grand Canyon South Rim.
One moment while I put a map together for you:  http://goo.gl/maps/DghZ
Los Angeles to Monument Valley
This map starts in Los Angeles, covers the Grand Canyon South Rim, Monument Valley, and returns back to Las Vegas via a Northern Route.
Depending on your time, you could also visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon on your way to Las Vegas via the Northern Route.
Would you like a copy of this chat when we are finished?
VISITOR:
Yes, if you can, thank you.
RITA:
You are very welcome. Do you have any other questions?
VISITOR:
I have seen also the bryce canyon and the death valley, but I haven’t the time.
RITA:
Yes, Bryce is about 3 hours North of Page, Arizona, and Death Valley is best visited in the Winter.
VISITOR:
grand canyon it’s my first choice.
RITA:
Save some places to come back for in another visit, maybe? I think by visiting the South Rim, possibly taking the One Day White Water trip and Monument Valley, you will see and experience so much.
VISITOR:
Yes, I have thought the same but I was looking for someone expert of the place. I have heard also of the valley of the fire.
RITA:
Well, you have come to the right place. We spend our free time exploring this area. Valley of Fire is near Las Vegas, maybe 30 minutes North. If you take the Northern route back to Las Vegas you will see the turn off for it. Very interesting place, but will be very hot.
VISITOR:
rita, I’d like to talk again with you.
RITA:
When we finish this chat, I will email you a copy, and you will have my email. We can correspond that way.
VISITOR:
perfect, see you soon then.
