Grand Canyon Hotels
There are 5 options for hotels in the town of Tusayan – just one mile from the Grand Canyon South Rim Park Entrance and conveniently located along State Highway 64. Among these options are three that are pet friendly and one that offers smoking rooms; all others are non-smoking facilities. All offer the usual amenities but there are differences that set them apart.
#1 Best Western Grand Canyon Squire Inn
Best Western Grand Canyon Squire Inn is conveniently located near the Grand Canyon National Park Airport and offers many amenities only offered by resort hotels. Their full service spa includes a hair salon and massage/treatment rooms. Their family friendly Game Center offers family-oriented fun after the sun goes down. A complementary hot continental breakfast is served each morning and there are a variety of options for meals and snacks throughout the day.
#2 The Grand Hotel
The Grand Hotel built in 1998 is the newest addition to Tusayan lodging. This facility is reminiscent of the style of lodges that were built in the National Parks around the turn of the 20th century, including those built in the Grand Canyon. Among the amenities offered is the Canyon Star Restaurant offering a variety of Southwest-inspired foods. Here you can enjoy nightly entertainment.
#3 Holiday Inn Express
Holiday Inn Express is the most kid-friendly hotel in the Grand Canyon area. It offers a continental breakfast with unforgettably scrumptious sweet rolls. A favorite amenity is their indoor swimming pool. Because the Grand Canyon and surrounding areas boast an elevation about 7,000 ft (2133.6 m) outdoor pools may not open until mid-June.
#4 Canyon Plaza Resort
Canyon Plaza Resort, located near the IMAX Theater, offers a variety of amenities that will surprise and delight you. Their on-site restaurant offers a full line of options for lunch and dinner. Complimentary wireless service is available in all public areas of the hotel. With 232 air-conditioned rooms to choose from, you will find something just right for you.
#5 The Grand Canyon Inn
Located just 23 miles South of Grand Canyon National Park, the Grand Canyon Inn is at the junction of US Highway 180 and US Highway 64 coming north from Williams, Arizona. It offer's a friendly, family owned hotel atmosphere with restaurant located in Valle, Arizona. Some of the amenities at the Grand Canyon Inn are an outdoor pool and children's pool. Next door is a Convenience Store and Gas Station where you can purchase your Grand Canyon National Park Entrance Pass. A Gift Shop featuring Native American Arts & Crafts is also located on property at the Grand Canyon Inn.
