On the Las Vegas Grand Celebration tour, you’ll be picked up at your hotel and transported to our brand new passenger terminal in Boulder City. There, your helicopter waits to whisk you away over the vast expanse of the Mojave Desert, massive Hoover Dam (plus the gravity-defying bypass bridge slated for completion in 2010), and the sparkling waters of Lake Mead. After about 45 minutes in the air, you’ll begin your thrilling descent 3,500’ down into the depths of the Earth, touching down at the bottom of the Grand Canyon!
At Grand Canyon West on the Hualapai Indian Reservation, you’ll have 30 minutes to enjoy the canyon floor. As you look upward, you’ll observe 2 billion years of the earth’s history in each layer of the canyon walls. You’ll sit down to enjoy a light picnic meal under an authentic Indian “ramada” before reboarding your chopper and flying back to Boulder City. Shuttle transport is provided back to your hotel at the conclusion of your tour.
