Change is good, especially when it’s for the better. Case in point: it used to be that if you were going on a Las Vegas Grand Canyon West tour, you had to choose: go to the bottom of the Grand Canyon or walk on the Grand Canyon Skywalk? Now you don’t have to choose anymore - you can do it all!
Presenting what is truly the ultimate Las Vegas Grand Canyon tour – the Grand Celebration Helicopter, Pontoon Boat and Skywalk tour! Still the perfect tour for Las Vegas visitors pressed for time, this exciting adventure begins with pickup at your hotel by van or mini-coach and transport to the Boulder City Municipal Airport.
After settling into your seats aboard Papillon’s comfortable A-Star helicopters, you’re up and away, over the austere Mojave Desert, the colossal Hoover Dam, and Lake Mead, one of the largest man-made lakes in the world, which played an integral role in modernizing the American West. The Grand Wash Cliffs rise up before you, then, the thrills begin as your helicopter begins its descent 4,000’ to the bottom of the Grand Canyon!
You’ll get up close and personal with the Grand Canyon’s rugged cliffs and hidden alcoves, before touching down at the bottom, where pontoon boats wait to take you on a leisurely cruise up to Quartermaster Point and back. After your river ride, it’s time to reboard your helicopter and fly back rimside, where motor coaches are ready to show you Grand Canyon West.
Your first stop is Eagle Point, site of Arizona’s newest and most exciting attraction, the Grand Canyon Skywalk! This horseshoe-shaped glass platform juts 70 feet past the canyon’s edge, giving you the spine-tingling sensation of walking on air hundreds of feet above bottom of the Grand Canyon. If time permits, you can also tour Grand Canyon West’s Indian Village, where you can walk inside replicas of the traditional dwellings of many Southwest Indian Tribes. At the Eagle Point Amphitheatre, you might catch a Native dance or cultural program presented by the Hualapai Indian Tribe.
Afterwards, you’ll reboard your helicopter for a second spectacular flight back to the Boulder City Airport, then return transport to your Las Vegas hotel.
If all this sounds like an incredible experience, it is – and at 7 hours hotel to hotel, you can enjoy the best of both worlds: “Grand Canyon time” and “Vegas time!” Book your seats today for the ultimate Las Vegas Grand Canyon adventure. We’ll see you in Las Vegas!
